Nexcelle is an engine nacelle industry leader in integrated propulsion systems for a wide range of aircraft.
Bringing together the capabilities of GE Aviation’s Middle River Aircraft Systems and the Safran group’s Aircelle company, this joint venture has teamed with its parent companies to develop, produce and support integrated propulsion systems for jet engine applications on single-aisle jetliners and business aircraft.
The cooperation is patterned after the GE/Safran CFM International joint venture, which has a 35-year record of excellence as a supplier to aircraft operators worldwide, with more than 20,000 CFM56 engines delivered.
In an innovative approach, Nexcelle and its parent companies are working together in evolving truly integrated propulsion systems. As part of their seamless cooperation, Nexcelle uses the same design tools, operating practices, and business processes as CFM International.
The result will be aircraft propulsion systems that are more operationally efficient, cost-effective and aerodynamically optimized.
