Nexcelle’s parent companies Safran Nacelles and Middle River Aerostructure Systems have extensive design, production and support capabilities in all aspects of engine nacelles: from pylons, mounts, fan cowls, nozzles and thrust reversers to acoustic treatment, thermal protection and anti-icing.

Safran Nacelles is the second largest nacelle systems provider worldwide, and the leader globally for nacelles on top-of-the-line business jets. A subsidiary of Safran, it employs 3,800 people at eight sites in France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Morocco.

Safran Nacelles provides nacelle systems for all the market segments, from regional and business aircraft to the largest airliners. The company has unmatched expertise in integrating nacelles and their components, including the world’s first Electrical Thrust Reverser Actuation System, proven in service on the Airbus A380.

Middle River Aerostructure Systems (MRAS) is a leading supplier of jet engine thrust reversers and nacelle systems. The company also has produced a variety of specialized aerostructures for major aircraft manufacturers for use commercial and military aircraft.

MRAS employs a workforce of more than 800 employees – both hourly and salaried – at its site near Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to design and manufacturing, MRAS provides technical support and spares services for a variety of aerostructures and engine nacelle components.
